I loved Dawn's idea for making bigger frames, but I sadly do not own any frames from PTI yet. I do have the limitless layers dyes however, and Dawn's idea gave me another idea. I could absolutely make a reverse frame out of my limitless layer dies!

Here is the die I used...
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAUrg1M30QG8p9GWeDxp0waSYPij9wujy8cXMYY1NFv9pelknlMw3UFHZiqVsBGc8FwfC4a8Dh2WgNSrGxCyscAvNqIe4H-ptOR9dEVC7p9JtR8M6NemSgMM1qqCmXKrRcb5TZWaCXh6s/s320/mim55die.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713912573567285954" />

And here is the card I made with this die..
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdXrF2hXjXgeTFlDEQy9GP37e7O2lIB242jYO8FK88FBLaC-t33R1vMW5qVoNxJbwD-h8l_u0aijlsvZtO2ZSmx21d4tvObnFe4oE8kd1wp1N3UBhuvh9sSfD-NADe19DGxXsi5BLzczU/s320/mim55card.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713912562743006450" />

I used Smokey Shadow cardstock and ink, Lemon Tart and Vintage Cream cardstock, and the new stamp set Simply You. This week's Make It Monday is to use glittered buttons. I happened to be making this card for a friend who just had a baby and I thought the wheels on this would be adorable as glittered buttons!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiojWAiIH4eOXoRgkRqz6JvuvlbhuDAaXCB7ODUUnYj5XNDbdw5hscYQLyOtWKASxicuXYUTdRzHS8wTrQUVAKqKfjpSriKZSvmp9tlfXst5_f8HwMo3odR5ZpGn4xUl3OwwphvjpvuShs/s320/mim225122.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713131525020575650" />

I used kraft, vintage cream, aqua mist and smokey shadows cardstock. The buttons and button twine are also from PTI, and I used the stamp set Tiny Tags and coordinating dies. The baby carriage was cut from my Cricut using the Stork's Delivery cartridge and patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. And there you have it, a fantastic little baby boy card, easily adaptable for baby girl. ;)

Cheers!
Keishakhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-49081119271556975652012-02-14T22:53:00.004-05:002012-02-14T22:59:58.954-05:00Papertrey Ink Challenge!Well, I've been a little MIA. Our pups (almost a year old!) have kept me super busy. I'm also working on a new blog that I am going to design myself. So be on the lookout for that!

Anyway, here is a card for the Papertrey Ink challenge on Nichole Heady's blog. It is their 5th anniversary! Happy anniversary PTI!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 274px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaObn8WFDsbTe1kpQnX8nKIy_OVuAw2gns7HY1Z_M7zupdJr4VSQyGIRPDijsqhfPxrr7HpXvMluEFTDtEAjcFgGjj7QyIIA5bekkiXWCITLqmKmj5PFeeO8s4lmga3dGm1ktD955lcb0/s320/21412.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5709206476892590498" />

The task today was to make an interactive card! I took a note out of Nichole Heady's book today, I tried to recreate a slider card, but let me tell you, those new dies coming out tomorrow would be sooo much easier! ;) I created a little butterfly to 'take flight'. I even used some felt for the backing, as that is probably one of my most favorite things to do. :P Hope you enjoy!

Cheers!
Keishakhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-78382528884376677132011-07-23T23:27:00.002-04:002011-07-23T23:38:13.249-04:00Introducing......As promised, here are the pup pictures!! I haven't posted in a long time, ahh. I really have just been so super busy with the two new pups and potty training. Oh my gosh, how long is it supposed to take to potty train two labs? Hehe. They are so sweet though, I'll post pictures. I thought a little challenge would help me get back into the swing of things, so here is a card I made for Papertrey Ink's challenge today. The challenge was to look at stamps in a new way. I thought it would be fun to make a flower and then use my sentiment stamps to create the stem and leaves. I do like that idea, I am sure I will do it again. Enjoy! I used PTI's Beautiful Blooms II, Butterfly Dreams, and Calendar Basics.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTSjsSj40Ogit1QX1i6jUwp6PmtYXOa0UtXJfC985OqTOf9aiDqnIXBEJP9DboP_KH9MTpXy0TWe3OanpDqZO1o8Yx5wlKPnqEhSHnmltHdlk_wdH3MSMpiCxCHkk_9B3ZstOYWKVwK4g/s320/ptichallenge.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632754614802525186" />

I'll get some puppy pics up here in just a couple minutes! :)

Have a great one,
KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-45762069093323209522011-04-14T23:35:00.007-04:002011-04-15T09:47:03.082-04:00My Core’dinations Creative FrenzyGood day everyone!!
I have been super busy lately, my husband and I just got two yellow lab puppies and we have been busy with them! But I saw this design team call and knew I had to do it. This post has to have three projects using Core'dinations cardstock. It could be any three projects, but what better way to showcase core'dination cardstock than with a card, layout, and a mini book. The cardstock is so versatile, I did a fun card, a wedding layout, and a boy themed minibook.

Project #1
This is a fun little card I created. The pink cardstock is core'dinations cardstock. I simply embossed and sanded either side of the cardstock leaving a unembossed strip in the middle. This is where I put my flower and sentiment. I layered it all on some black cardstock from my stash and ta-da, fantastic easy card. Did I mention I sanded around the core'dination cardstock to give it some rough edges? Love that effect.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYmmCc1zWhfMUMfLJ8JX63InXMwxMMXteGxUy675-QnqALoPkbzRC3fjssjaJSr95zYVD7HlEeGYi6tZ0SAPTjUZUj4YuytY9DZt_yi0yznk5BCPAeOhn48pB27wVVvi_m2eE8on-a3_U/s320/IMG_0752.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595804418748923682" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWCgC2hw7FuBVDA0DqioBL2MlWCGHe8DCr2TQVbJ2OJxYtY3mfDqtQRjvEO6xZn7W9JxE0-IDd7RRfmmHLY5LmfpBSTMq1p4q2rSbyamyg3mCx-DlUxvSHzu_7X-ykn_A8eSSvI-RBKxo/s320/IMG_0754.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595804410293542434" />

Project #2
This is a wedding layout I did of my own wedding. This is all core'dinations cardstock. I love the pearlized cardstock for the back ground. This layout was super easy to make although it may not look that way. Again, I embossed some core'dination cardstock and lightly sanded over the raised portion. I also sanded in some of the negative space of the embossed design to give it a little something extra. Then I took a q-tip and some ink and colored in the embossed image. Love how that looks! Of course, the corner rounder was a big part of this layout. It adds a little extra something. A ribbon, button and pearls complete the look, along with some glitter alphabet stickers. :)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyke-EVlM6A1jwViLOpjGSsZ_vx55yn0Y9g7j0ddSWANfrjsb5uwkCpcF2POX0w5c6W123-h2DrcJYezk1fzdfNo1fY-SUIN7Ghvllkb3u-J2BOV3VnQmdMFzwBVTXTW1J0Q0TuXUmflg/s320/IMG_0758.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595804406949645794" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX60H_gb8ieyLAGOdeWxEMJx-_2_T9bNXmDH2JhRKbIehL2Q9cuCSk-b59zOT5QHmBvK1Kg4Ey4bp01B0Zmpq-W2dPSfU81RizFZc_cfGaiOrVgU2NCg5EZvOxodYX6QcLBRDelHAFXFE/s320/IMG_0756.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595804401432050546" />

Project #3
This is a minibook that I created for my nephew. I wanted it to be simple and easy. Something that I wouldn't be super upset if it got lost or damaged. But I also wanted it to be fun, modern, and boyish* (*note: cool). Core'dinations cardstock again gave me the tools I needed to complete this project. I embossed several pieces of core'dination cardstock and sanded the embossed area. I also flipped the paper over and embossed the opposite side of the cardstock, then ran my ink pad over the raised areas to create a matching yet different look. So easy! I glued the cardstock to some coasters and punched holes in each 'page' using my crop-a-dile. The best part of the whole minibook is the front cover. I took all my leftover different colored pieces of core'dination cardstock, sanded it well, crumpled it up and smoothed it back out, tore it in pieces and glued it down on the coaster. I absolutely love how it turned out, and it looks really cool too. I think my nephew will approve. A few diecuts and pictures make this a fun and simple minibook.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmh4KKmFoh8EGPOabdQq9ead716OqgrBzZmcmP7WKlM_EbloncZuVnHKwH2Fiw5scU1aBJIUuBrjR-5agBCsGY2EBLUnO4JwqR_Fgu6oN4eIHqkO053tq6pWQRkK-ptk_HXhyphenhyphenqjh4crIk/s320/IMG_0761.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595805283336498930" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFXvrL2uU7aCqJRC-qGJFholIMkeVtNEYdRhN9YtuiL8Zxx_1djKHe7DzBrbFzhpNaDYSGeOeQfzr-oJQht7SuVZN0RlyAnhA4xZuL5qcr30gkr8Dy95o2dZzsYUcvU4Dqb3XJxkqquJ4/s320/IMG_0766.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595802817946280482" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiABPxwU8t-y4_a-97xkUQUNQz78qzcDsxgUP-KfdmZ9d80PBp_P3saVQWpgT_kyU4Kb_GfzgCq-QewMN4s3wWEQ-oUOtl8K1GR6qwPiM_raSC2YeUCkj67JNTKEpd9ImCkYCZ_NWThY_k/s320/IMG_0762.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595802833768874034" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7SQLNCWM-qCvrc289H_ca0hSTZeemC9QSI59xTHUyDHrWzM7Ai6u42hFZGXnwv2vCPzoxJSpb0LrGKHJ_rDK_ixepwTbRWkh6luS68_txtUXqui3GsobhRa0C_Bt0-PhTLrQzA09K5Gg/s320/IMG_0763.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595802829404153906" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqrDRIqsAUxwNRwVv7BU5UB9HO7YQUl83jQG49G2cc5h1JGsPgtP1-vdsJDHlSVXXoteUKd5c5uY2rS5OkX8wkCAZSwzk0Aq7QOzXAx-PuArXuJ1yTpo43Z8U4wsTb_M8eCAX7HcU7drw/s320/IMG_0764.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595802826065751426" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigf5yFj72JAS5Y-DLm_c86uaAkdX7GOBmMnYSyTH-fpESde5sbHAWh8VIzjigKpi6g4GwmUkPtDpqEYJCqDQs0TC5xCyMmos0Axd1MFTLIbpkaYrT7Aybpj243XjkAZqJyWOnvaPstaJI/s320/IMG_0765.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595802819861728434" />

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my post! When I saw the Make It Monday for this week, I knew I had to play along, I just love this technique. The technique is to take a piece of scor-tape and use it as glue for glitter. I used Berry Sorbet and Stampers Select White cardstock from PTI, Beautiful Blooms II and Signature Greetings stamp sets, scor tape, Martha Stewart Onyx glitter, and Basic Black and Cameo Coral Stampin' Up Ink. I like the way it all came together, check it out!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 282px; height: 212px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRXyvrWqyEtfuWE_0GcPsy6XpAnXRArPerdWiriCAjUiQen0rO0see7o1Tpgtj8UVSxxYG-YR2uDAT-tojuB8AFCXmtM-9fxHQbFdNBK_5CfytapuW-Kk2hfubqT2ZP1zjgXAlBortnqs/s320/mim221.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576275789134786802" />

Thanks for stopping by!
KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-32047632772125080762011-02-10T13:49:00.002-05:002011-02-10T14:02:33.966-05:00PTI Button Challenge!!Well I had good intentions last night for many more posts, and I fell asleep at nine by accident. Whoops! I only woke up at 2 this morning so I guess I needed some sleep. Go figure! Anywho, another challenge issued by Nichole Heady's blog today! Goodness, they have some fantastic releases this month (as with every month!) But today's challenge is a button challenge, using buttons in a unique way. Now I'm going to venture a guess and say that this has been done before, but not by me! So here is today's card!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLSbTmgF2_OSl4y__RG_v_vp9QbE26lMc4svz-JmDKlUsBTjfWoBAHp7b4veesqjhV5bQ2KFv7AbC7IPvYPlCBwsBegwbbRwRJb6ZMnHi9dj5oYMPTEaSMdj8j87GhhKjVVXuGe8hE5F8/s320/IMG_0646.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5572136142632120658" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjstTtkXiae2zXiUIessGDiIlne9u5Juu0TYKGRlC6jwBrDz0e_zoeJw17zsmpnHEZvAvb9LgQwoC6W_APYeR8V-iX-gAgnlipnQt8rPU5RC9VSN6UgGaH9Jvlu4_edZQIvE3niDLaDJF4/s320/IMG_0648.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5572136135837591234" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqTgWma-bOL9H3FtQSnvzL2vzJNsRNJuk6kz7ZMo6RwEYYR-VALH2o8PurdRZBxsO3ahd9bGtkt_QYxrjxlZQtFonXqsnXSCHJG5s4W9BYCe4nCOw-7paCz8TbGI2DOwGIekxAmCVNAJE/s320/IMG_0649.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5572136134014064466" />

Hooray! A birthday card! And let me tell you, this may be my new favorite PTI color combo. I really enjoy it. :) Vintage cream (A new favorite of mine!), Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Aqua Mist, and Enchanted Evening. I used my Imagine and the Straight From The Nest cartridge as well as Doodlecharms for the present. Orange Zest buttons and Rustic Cream button twine for the banner (my first banner card! And I LOVE it!). Red stickles from Ranger Ink for the fun glitter on the package, a brad from my stash (I could not tell you where it is from, so sorry!). Mega Mixed Messages and some orange Stampin' Up ink finish up the card.

I need to clean this scrap room! I've been creating like mad and the only thing that does for me is want to create more! I have a couple magazine submissions that I want to work on, and I need to do a few more birthday cards for sure. Plus, I need to take pictures of my new room! You all can be the judge on if it's "too bright" or if it's fantastic!! ;)

Catch ya later!
KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-21636165580480471302011-02-09T16:35:00.005-05:002011-02-09T16:42:27.278-05:00PTI Color Challenge Part DeuxWoweee, lots of posts today!

So my next color challenge choice was Ripe Avocado (adore this color), Ocean Tides, Vintage Cream and Dark Chocolate.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2ypbv1HeiCNHLgm6OcOUqQvkaovDTedprdsgsofSTqmfyXEPg3Flz14drccKBNDZd0XO9kRHK8uKCXcTxTUao2QzEOHdGA1D_GTq04eFAiMksRvVoPP3xAjuqMdhnwr08PrAFF1WYfP0/s320/IMG_0638.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571807613532897506" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzgE_meBPzKW_CdkTWFIAuNKaZ_gA6fq-QbmkzTyX2koRRhHIPDNAl5u5F3Y_p0qjEuraz1pLcbzHZqscBPs14zkdYuuEzch2wQ0Tgs9we2iJNJxca8H5sDGz9RGw3GDdCEEEKPdgcAA0/s320/IMG_0640.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571807604942732610" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBvgJhzq1JM8yMAYXKjxshhrMszSWs85EX7N72FzydvSishyCgvKWxzpx5q1oNKWrgPDQ_cOT_3vT99MX4SOB7xMt6qQSax4SmkcDBBZtAh1O0m79alK568afRcO49zaQS_8i5W7eiLq4/s320/IMG_0637.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571807599139445522" />

This card is really simple. Just a card to say hello to someone special! :)

I'll be back, I'm not through yet! Need to take a break to clean the mudroom. Major painting going on next week. Anyway, I need birthday cards, so I'll surely make some of those tonight! There are four more color combos I'd like to try, lets see how many I can get done! ;)

Cheers,
KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-35157955759715303572011-02-09T16:27:00.004-05:002011-02-09T16:34:19.778-05:00PTI Color Challenge!!Let's face it, sometimes you can envision a card, and when all is said and done you are completely off track. That's what happened with this card, although I still like it, I was totally going to use a butterfly when I realized I've been a little butterfly crazy as of late, so I used a dragonfly. ;)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhy7XmRh4N094Wl-_FOGKpJxZ0krFpWXuCoNPaCIySICjjLLKKPvR3ZF51U3T7kD8LNmK3isETz72EJw7P1mOVw8Yi46oIKc_lQQSOuPybeWvjI8Gn9QDm52Dx4359gWmN9cB6iqixyqf4/s320/IMG_0643.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571805760112722898" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIf7MQ9C68ML0LTY4xnupTNDsRlFp8H7puQSFxPGiOeZhNo9F1-RgEik7awiIQ7FQ2R55oPa6MZACk6OBe_NLHWOx9eI5GvQAdEfbbV4LTtoWnut0aAE5EfPOsoqWnkycuWZ-9w8nkQpE/s320/IMG_0645.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571805756623891186" />

So the color challenge combo I used was Ripe Avocado, Spring Rain, Dark Chocolate and Kraft. All PTI colors. I used a Martha Stewart border punch, and used my Imagine machine (!) and the gypsy wandering cartridge for the leaves and dragonfly. Mega mixed messages complete the card, with a get well on the left. Why do sentiments always have to be on the right? Hehe. I know, it's deep stuff. ;)

Thanks for stopping by!
Keishakhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-49475980448911848122011-02-09T13:29:00.005-05:002011-02-09T13:42:25.329-05:00Make It Monday! Another PTI project! :)How fantastic, PTI (papertreyink) is doing a new thing called Make It Monday! I had a great time doing this project, (go to Nichole's blog for details here. You'll have to scroll a couple of posts.) Anyway, here is my card for Make It Monday! (On Wednesday, oh well! ;) Hehe)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9Lr6PPzrX2DJxh3GAS76nfEmueX-ZfHyoh_sfKCSp1DL5oMUo8mtduFV3uFPPKes6Cg9udNeOojmTKLbwdfGnS3BJSEAF-CSJW-jsACkw3sDOKtDSI0GdRA26kOvVKtaV3ugLkooKvg8/s320/IMG_0632.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571760093146209698" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8BIYt7UjLqDQG0Cfhpbcuh6oS8jOLbeoDkUbrj9ARL-oIK6A11B37CwSXC_g37q0W52PEpcdXdp2UKvMD-crk2SnYOF1pI0Mi9jA3JX3kbZEMXM0O-G0V4b0wsYQRReMQzwl2ghyphenhyphengDLc/s320/IMG_0634.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571760088808880674" />

Seriously, my camera does not do this justice, it is cuteee! :) So, mostly everything is PTI products. Raspberry Fizz, True Black and Stamper's Select White Cardstock. Hawaiian shores felt. Stamp sets Mega Mixed Messages and Signature Greetings, and the swirls off of Calendar Basics. Ink is from Stampin' Up! (because I haven't been able to get the PTI inks yet!) And the rhinestones are from K&Company.

And did you notice? I used PTI's calendar die for the black part on my card, I just cut it down a little and rounded the corners. The white cardstock was cut 2.5 inches X about 3.5 inches. Fun! :D

I really like this color combo! :) Speaking of color combos, there is another challenge on Nichole's blog which I'm going to participate in again, with different color combos. So look for more posts soon! I got to eat some lunch first! ;)

Cheers!
KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-23203094939570770842011-02-06T16:13:00.004-05:002011-02-06T16:29:46.007-05:00PTI Tag Challenge #3!My final tag challenge is a notepad. I used one of the PTI notepads and a template that Nichole Heady had provided one time on her blog. (So sorry, I cannot find the post at the moment!! But Nichole's blog is and it is fantastic, I could (and do!) spend hours there!)
I used PTI kraft cardstock, a stamp from the PTI Butterfly Dreams stamp set and also one from mega mixed messages, and some Hawaiian Shores cardstock for the binding and the closure. I punched the binding with a Stampin' Up punch, and used a yellow button and velcro dot for the closure. So fun!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuZQVJyBuRNreJBnRF_G9AbmtpNgCqd-3p9H-4arS0Evii12vv09DQ68MNLcuuf_HsnGka79Lx_iL7Jxh6vwz4TYSbGRwqSd5O1HaBdw3EUdVFx7H4BSkDabit1lTBjCE2yoJK_qYU8jo/s320/IMG_0627.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570690594941589170" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXEk-uSMMMIubL8CZEDZfhwdt-xlMEdeexiPG0RAoJDVNrNj6iIA8QzCWazyI6IWnxmdwbF-qN55MrvgJFaQXmuDoocfsoS18PK_tZ4Sh_K9PO6ICw8ITjLFsRwmI0_VbdVK1qI50UxKY/s320/IMG_0626.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570690587090332306" />

That's it for today!! The colors are so pretty, and I found a Heidi Grace chipboard frame in my stash that fits perfectly over it. I also used my Sew Easy tool and some of PTIs button twine to finish it off. And of course, I had to glitter the flower. I like how clean and simple this card is, makes me happy. :)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8Op7im-yqUlFNM7EUfZwEXC4urie3gjEPwaCFx1AnP1peVcY8Mr3e5fYoYTfLMltg6mabHt5o25mnrCoHcBeP1YbD1n71k8PDhyphenhyphenYDysXh83a7OTByIGOYUFJj-gbGc8f4N0WgBpzROQ8/s320/IMG_0624.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570686786469681858" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTm9FYqDDM3cCayMR0BLdiZsVUXCli4baXofEnpoJRj8gwlmh1wD4etXAe7n4LuoNKakVGTzWMaQteMxm6KGNao_GoqRyU6rvy60XYeUC6ZzgsWJJzJGVjKzjjfsdrISMP7P6Em6RsRRM/s320/IMG_0623.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570686781820152594" />

KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-22815902971805065662011-02-06T15:56:00.004-05:002011-02-06T16:31:05.315-05:00Papertrey Ink Tag Download Challenge!Today I have three, count em, three! projects to share with you today. They are super quick and super simple to make, and it is all for the Papertrey Ink Tag Download Challenge. I had to make my projects quick and easy because my scrapbook room is in shambles at the moment. I will have pictures up to show off my new room once I'm a little more organized. :)

So without further ado, project number 1!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpWiqZM79Rmfp1IHsomr7Lw1H6RFZryQ2_yy7_jrZmY40BAwUrwue_dHdeBHVf1LNf992r-niTOZDMxJsFzzkPd71fkzA4P4udJtNqAFR0Gps5xSUs6Eh5emTfagi_27_PaqrmuYyqjgM/s320/IMG_0621.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570684845015421826" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDuIIiTOMzhVYX0QI57C8xz5zQ7pl-Zd1bCsBOwptAwVxDnZny4J4WJQJEVUeLWds1mxSyGL0o2I6AmWxR1PsCzRlIDJuRIu13-i_RVntaXFkgwefrzyvguQjkkMbRypQQ5w_KmfGu8kQ/s320/IMG_0619.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570684844002097458" />

I used True Black cardstock, some scrap of vellum I had, and one of the Papertrey Ink Tags I downloaded. I really wanted to layer the tag over this flower for some reason, I tried to do other things but I kept coming back to this. I think I'll give it to my husband for valentine's day, although it's a tad bit girlie, he wont mind. ;)

KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-58226265468163222662011-02-05T17:56:00.003-05:002011-02-05T18:09:54.992-05:00Favorite Papertrey Product of this past year!So my favorite papertrey product of the past year would have to be this thank you card I made. I made it with the intention of sending it in to magazines to see if it would get picked up. (A dream of mine!) Sadly, it was not accepted anywhere. But nevermind, I now get to share it on my blog!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgF7S983EU12AQnO6Z0eHcCXj87WDf7bysvrF-pXywIYk8xQ_2FYD_P23vk4rlIt_CTPOYDVMlB2ZSG5c3h2UtcYZU1-5ca3Gbnbj_bdcChSLXsrq_WX8kTeL3Q6koEe1YPcmZQ3tbOgg/s320/HPIM1048.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570343518354032514" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3pktXKEJzu4cNrsBYtHBlJj-CSWLlD3UO2K4iFIMkRrdibiw_ciEWAjZ4u7FpiQelE8NIKVLTWll415U9CKlGyLqcsqolIERJf_49eVD1TpaumWHhKI_NHuI_YavXzCrc3H0FEToAHuY/s320/HPIM1045.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570343510994986002" />

For this card I believe the paper was True Black and Melon Berry from Papertrey ink perfect match collection. The stamps were from Butterfly Dreams (Thank You) and Beautiful Blooms II, both sets also from Papertrey Ink. The felt was True Black felt from PTI, and then a little stickles from Ranger Ink finished off the project for me. I still really love this card!

Have a great one,
Keishakhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-63510722621014259572011-01-25T21:52:00.005-05:002011-01-25T22:02:08.979-05:00Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop!!Ta-da!! A new card to share, for the PTI blog hop! This was a fun assignment. Had to use a older PTI stamp set that you haven't used for a while. So I choose Signature Greetings. Here it is with pure poppy card stock, also pattern paper was from Inque Boutique, I'm pretty sure you can't get anything from Inque Boutique anymore. :( The butterfly was a PTI die, and sprayed with glimmer mist!

Hope you enjoy!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP4gI6V9ikdxTfTHB5QpW0v71cMqv3iuYOeD8f2hKIsgpa4WSzdcFjsPD9oO9TS40N02TmsQmeI5A6S1OGNAW1osopJrPjqqd_HFKMdPqE_sa3dofF87mO21gd-9JwisB9IhzG83qVp-c/s320/IMG_0613.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566324157116048162" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYbKupiqozqJUK-X0m021YdXMfLH8me-Kh4qzp_tIHWMbxN0lQf1xNZoGte6tZFRmXxydPjRVl4H3TZx5kEwPC3jAVwNLOJnjEjY7CEKS53ilbLNd6BWz2wdclSimagm3iHLjCMUvI0gg/s320/IMG_0615.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566324160844310994" />

Have a great one!
KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-31609073642745348812011-01-04T13:26:00.004-05:002011-01-04T13:35:47.235-05:00Design Team Entry for My Pink StamperHello everyone! New year's resolution is to post more! Share some more of my creations, etc. So here is a card I made for the design team challenge at mypinkstamper.com.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOVvXRabKqcNhdIiPTyJIH5MmtiUe2Y8b_K-GEXmyMnrinu-g5BBuQDCEkGfDeIatgCZ6HWLqkZP5WKBh20jFICAHO2NXe0QI-9dk5JzogAMs1xrCnKEs8a7uvgU58Ulr8y4M0hxlrG5s/s320/goodluck2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558399496693638114" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheK8ZyYlgu5cv7b9dpQotrkkUG8e6UX70F7M3spJzgkdbhx4dNIIgjuV_0GcYa7XEe1lebVPgCs-CHj4yqDl6BUO6b-XPwvb-KwxqTZVmnqs-dzVQt7Bm7nPjwuPd5s4U4pv9-8oOO39U/s320/goodluck.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558399490355115250" />

The recipe for this card is really simple. Green, brown and pink cardstock, the cricut of course, and the gypsy. The cartridges I used are Designer's Calendar, Opposites Attract, and Simply Sweet. This card could most definitely be made with just the Designer's Calendar cartridge, but I thought I'd mix it up a bit. It is so easy to do so with the gypsy! I welded the two clovers together, and ta-da! It is a really simple card to make, and so cute!

I feel like I should give you a background for this card. Yesterday I went to a going away party for my boss. I know many people do not like their boss, but I loved her. It was really sad, but I thought I'd make her a good luck card for her new job.

Well there you have it! I definitely think this card is cute. I love to put buttons as the centers of flowers! :) Thanks for looking!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 252px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEha9oe0Ymlpqz0M6-BjWK7g6OH5e5lqBtqwo4KyAkWAc5WCkDZPXulCiJdF83RN4JqPFdfRIiA5k2pFmfvsFor54Fu7xdH9Bfu4EPga4tnNd7he_RXvG169jVGE9ccUHcibEL959849gCg/s320/mps101710.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529181746144966850" />khdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-75421439957017320702010-10-09T23:24:00.002-04:002010-10-09T23:30:27.400-04:00MPS Challenge!Wow, what a long time since I've posted. Many many personal issues lately and I wont bore you with the details. On the upside, we bought a house and are closing in a couple weeks. So I should be back on the blog train soon! Once we get all settled in and such I think I'll feel much more creative. :)

Anyway, here is a wintery card I made for the My Pink Stamper challenge this weekend. I love how I used glimmer mist and it made a marble like effect. After multiple tries with the snowflakes and assorted glitters, I decided to leave them as they were. Just a really simple cute little card. :)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQsIPmbQkfwNzweZvlR5WvqAftW6yZ5keuQhjjeL-YXn1tequvP3S7RnKw_q2yyk_Uvh_tbUZEWNVlgwzQcGyi_bvTFCUkK-MIl0GBT8_m4LsVNaaF5WUgH9myYmSeLbQJ9BwybnY669A/s320/mps101010again.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526254347623499506" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhljNrXFEfvd93Tp_lB4kLE1FmFASRf5XI45CDYF8A1p-QjCTYiiwUA95lf7_tcrEzK7s6IVJFwdogfjlbcqQGWl1APRP0OH_YwZMEVMtp-dSdX2SNtsLvGx_gyRq-enW4eNZZEJlY2io0/s320/mps101010.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526254330756900290" />

Thanks for taking a look!
KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7063443778103668528.post-38496921313490892912010-06-25T18:00:00.005-04:002010-06-25T18:00:04.166-04:00PTI June 2010 Blog Hop!!!Here is my post for my first ever PTI Blog Hop!! Actually, I did this card for a challenge over at My Pink Stamper's website. It was a great challenge that allowed me to get my card done!! :)

I used Bashful Blue ink and cardstock from Stampin' Up, and also Not Quite Navy Stampin' Up ink. I used Gypsy Font for the text and some buttons from my stash. (On a related note: Did you all see the gypsy update for today??!? It is awesomeeee. I'm loving it soo much.)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 241px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7TexVKL1amr5H9NRXeYdMRe1R-ybns_s12F94kFATxyb2Uh-WNU9oUmHeAMAJyqdiPMIj8UCqZjnbbhxdiemx5gXYOB2LsfoPxwa8B2FI4MQCCJIJrnMPEr1B3ttG2EekIpGJ93leZRE/s320/fathers.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476518615428693474" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 241px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhANPHd9YoXkr-rizvOwc_ZRLUCd-2rLJEug_lOW-JtPBkUqRRk1nhDIIR-VkXajHKj9oJb433D6h92ENWYmW9iZg1Jg5I7rJFL2SCVa5Y5xiYHnv10j7Ss64oZKQcDbJpgngmL7EJZf_o/s320/fathers2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476518619195270562" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 241px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihUPYyXxx5yZR1uXjYrOeKHpsFouYrzOwqpBlYQoyXJVUKSUkk-42L25kzGzToGr77OlydLfJZK_3RbhDWlPMXr5xhqkrKqPV_WTpernFz4b_LQGkM8m1TN6gHG6tJxnDKCPy3pZRA1EE/s320/fathers3.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476518628281284546" />

Close up of the buttons. :)

Thanks for taking a look. When I first started scrapbooking years ago I actually went out and bought scraps. Yep, BOUGHT them! Lol. :) I still get the urge to buy scraps sometimes. But anyway, I still have some of those scraps I bought so long ago. So I thought I really should do this challenge. Everything on this card was scraps, except the blue background. And I have to apologize again, as the photography is not great. Although, I really think it might be DCWV paper, it's hard to photograph. Maybe the texture of it. Anyway, the tree and the sentiment were cut with the Sweethearts cart. I've been meaning to cut this tree out, because it is just SOOO cute. I love it. I'll definitely be using this cut again and again. And I used Smooch ink again to color in the hearts of the tree. A lot easier and more effective than cutting out all the layers again for just some red hearts. I'm going to give this to someone special eventually, but for now I'll tuck it away. :) This is officially my last challenge for NSD, lol. But stay tuned, this week I have a super fun/special project I did, you'll want to see it. I'm thinking I'll have it posted sometime on Friday! Check back! Thanks for stopping in!

KeishaHDkhdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11937769148306104457noreply@blogger.com0
