Favorite Papertrey Product of this past year!

So my favorite papertrey product of the past year would have to be this thank you card I made. I made it with the intention of sending it in to magazines to see if it would get picked up. (A dream of mine!) Sadly, it was not accepted anywhere. But nevermind, I now get to share it on my blog!

For this card I believe the paper was True Black and Melon Berry from Papertrey ink perfect match collection. The stamps were from Butterfly Dreams (Thank You) and Beautiful Blooms II, both sets also from Papertrey Ink. The felt was True Black felt from PTI, and then a little stickles from Ranger Ink finished off the project for me. I still really love this card!

Have a great one,

Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop!!

Ta-da!! A new card to share, for the PTI blog hop! This was a fun assignment. Had to use a older PTI stamp set that you haven't used for a while. So I choose Signature Greetings. Here it is with pure poppy card stock, also pattern paper was from Inque Boutique, I'm pretty sure you can't get anything from Inque Boutique anymore. :( The butterfly was a PTI die, and sprayed with glimmer mist!

Hope you enjoy!

Have a great one!

Design Team Entry for My Pink Stamper

Hello everyone! New year's resolution is to post more! Share some more of my creations, etc. So here is a card I made for the design team challenge at mypinkstamper.com.

The recipe for this card is really simple. Green, brown and pink cardstock, the cricut of course, and the gypsy. The cartridges I used are Designer's Calendar, Opposites Attract, and Simply Sweet. This card could most definitely be made with just the Designer's Calendar cartridge, but I thought I'd mix it up a bit. It is so easy to do so with the gypsy! I welded the two clovers together, and ta-da! It is a really simple card to make, and so cute!

I feel like I should give you a background for this card. Yesterday I went to a going away party for my boss. I know many people do not like their boss, but I loved her. It was really sad, but I thought I'd make her a good luck card for her new job.

Well there you have it! Thanks for stopping by!

Last Challenge, MPS

Last challenge for the day, a halloween/fall project. Here is a layout I made for my nephew/God son's scrapbook, halloween 2007. He was 2 1/2 years old here, what a cutie!! :)

Another MPS challenge, something cute!

Hey guys,
Here is another challenge I did for My Pink Stamper's blog, to make something cute! I definitely think this card is cute. I love to put buttons as the centers of flowers! :) Thanks for looking!

MPS Challenge!

Wow, what a long time since I've posted. Many many personal issues lately and I wont bore you with the details. On the upside, we bought a house and are closing in a couple weeks. So I should be back on the blog train soon! Once we get all settled in and such I think I'll feel much more creative. :)

Anyway, here is a wintery card I made for the My Pink Stamper challenge this weekend. I love how I used glimmer mist and it made a marble like effect. After multiple tries with the snowflakes and assorted glitters, I decided to leave them as they were. Just a really simple cute little card. :)

Thanks for taking a look!

PTI June 2010 Blog Hop!!!

Here is my post for my first ever PTI Blog Hop!! The challenge is to create a color combo with PTI colors!

My colors are, drum roll please.
Orange Zest
Berry Sorbet
Summer Sunrise
Hawaiian Shores

I used Orange Zest ribbon on this card, I just love this orange zest color! I used Beautiful Blooms #1 dies to cut out flowers from Hawaiian shores, summer sunrise and berry sorbet. Then I used a glue dot to attach orange zest buttons to the flowers, and I used rustic cream button twine too. :) Thanks so much is from Mega Mixed messages stamped in black ink. Simple, but such a fun cheery card! :)
