Thank You card!

Here is a Thank You card I made. I used the Sweethearts cart for the swirls and replaced the paper flower with a Heidi Grace flower. I altered the size and such on my gypsy so I don't have the exact measurements. I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the patterned paper. Hope you like it!

01/18 Cuttlebug Spot Challenge!

Here is my entry for the 01/18 Cuttlebug Spot Challenge.
The challenge was to use the number 10. I have a nephew turning 10 in a month so I thought this would be the perfect first challenge for me! I'm not a fantastic cardmarker.... yet. I hope to become one! I'm not sure if it's easy to tell, but I did use a circle folder as the background of the card. Alphalicious cricut cart was used for the font, which I cut at 1 inch. The paper doll is 3 inches and uses various pieces from Paper Doll Dress Up cart and Everyday Paper Dolls cart. The ice cream cone and party hat are from the Doodlecharms cart, and I can't remember how small I cut it, I used my gypsy so it was quite tiny!
Check out the challenge here: http://www.thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/
Hope you like it!

So I have realized I am not the best photographer. That or my camera is not fantastic. I thought I'd share anyway. This is a layout I just finished. Friends was cut from the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut cart. I used Papertrey Ink Sweet Blush cardstock, and the shadow was cut from Stampin' Up's Pixie Pink cardstock. The blue and green cardstock are DCWV. I got the ribbon at Target last year and it says "Fun, Happy, Laugh, Friends, Giggle, Smile, Celebrate, Together". I'm sad my pictures didn't turn out better, because it really is a cute layout! Promise! As for the sizes of everything, I didn't really pay attention! I'll get better at this as we go along hopefully. Thanks for looking! Two posts in one day, I'm on a roll! :)

Here is a thank you card I did with my Cricut. I used Dark Chocolate and Berry Sobert cardstock from Papertrey Ink for the base and the heart. Thank you was cut from some regular white cardstock and I used the Sweethearts cart for it. The heart is from George and Basic Shapes. I can't remember what cart the squares were from! Sorry. And of course, a little stickles on the heart gives it some sparkle. :) Thanks for looking!
