Make It Monday! Another PTI project! :)

How fantastic, PTI (papertreyink) is doing a new thing called Make It Monday! I had a great time doing this project, (go to Nichole's blog for details here. You'll have to scroll a couple of posts.) Anyway, here is my card for Make It Monday! (On Wednesday, oh well! ;) Hehe)

Seriously, my camera does not do this justice, it is cuteee! :) So, mostly everything is PTI products. Raspberry Fizz, True Black and Stamper's Select White Cardstock. Hawaiian shores felt. Stamp sets Mega Mixed Messages and Signature Greetings, and the swirls off of Calendar Basics. Ink is from Stampin' Up! (because I haven't been able to get the PTI inks yet!) And the rhinestones are from K&Company.

And did you notice? I used PTI's calendar die for the black part on my card, I just cut it down a little and rounded the corners. The white cardstock was cut 2.5 inches X about 3.5 inches. Fun! :D

I really like this color combo! :) Speaking of color combos, there is another challenge on Nichole's blog which I'm going to participate in again, with different color combos. So look for more posts soon! I got to eat some lunch first! ;)

Cheers!

PTI Tag Challenge #3!

My final tag challenge is a notepad. I used one of the PTI notepads and a template that Nichole Heady had provided one time on her blog. (So sorry, I cannot find the post at the moment!! But Nichole's blog is and it is fantastic, I could (and do!) spend hours there!)
I used PTI kraft cardstock, a stamp from the PTI Butterfly Dreams stamp set and also one from mega mixed messages, and some Hawaiian Shores cardstock for the binding and the closure. I punched the binding with a Stampin' Up punch, and used a yellow button and velcro dot for the closure. So fun!!

That's it for today!! Have a great one!

PTI Tag Challenge #2

So for my next project, I really wanted to use this Thinking of You tag. The colors are so pretty, and I found a Heidi Grace chipboard frame in my stash that fits perfectly over it. I also used my Sew Easy tool and some of PTIs button twine to finish it off. And of course, I had to glitter the flower. I like how clean and simple this card is, makes me happy. :)

Papertrey Ink Tag Download Challenge!

Today I have three, count em, three! projects to share with you today. They are super quick and super simple to make, and it is all for the Papertrey Ink Tag Download Challenge. I had to make my projects quick and easy because my scrapbook room is in shambles at the moment. I will have pictures up to show off my new room once I'm a little more organized. :)

So without further ado, project number 1!

I used True Black cardstock, some scrap of vellum I had, and one of the Papertrey Ink Tags I downloaded. I really wanted to layer the tag over this flower for some reason, I tried to do other things but I kept coming back to this. I think I'll give it to my husband for valentine's day, although it's a tad bit girlie, he wont mind. ;)

Favorite Papertrey Product of this past year!

So my favorite papertrey product of the past year would have to be this thank you card I made. I made it with the intention of sending it in to magazines to see if it would get picked up. (A dream of mine!) Sadly, it was not accepted anywhere. But nevermind, I now get to share it on my blog!

For this card I believe the paper was True Black and Melon Berry from Papertrey ink perfect match collection. The stamps were from Butterfly Dreams (Thank You) and Beautiful Blooms II, both sets also from Papertrey Ink. The felt was True Black felt from PTI, and then a little stickles from Ranger Ink finished off the project for me. I still really love this card!

Have a great one,
Keisha

Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop!!

Ta-da!! A new card to share, for the PTI blog hop! This was a fun assignment. Had to use a older PTI stamp set that you haven't used for a while. So I choose Signature Greetings. Here it is with pure poppy card stock, also pattern paper was from Inque Boutique, I'm pretty sure you can't get anything from Inque Boutique anymore. :( The butterfly was a PTI die, and sprayed with glimmer mist!

Hope you enjoy!

Have a great one!

Design Team Entry for My Pink Stamper

Hello everyone! New year's resolution is to post more! Share some more of my creations, etc. So here is a card I made for the design team challenge at mypinkstamper.com.

The recipe for this card is really simple. Green, brown and pink cardstock, the cricut of course, and the gypsy. The cartridges I used are Designer's Calendar, Opposites Attract, and Simply Sweet. This card could most definitely be made with just the Designer's Calendar cartridge, but I thought I'd mix it up a bit. It is so easy to do so with the gypsy! I welded the two clovers together, and ta-da! It is a really simple card to make, and so cute!

I feel like I should give you a background for this card. Yesterday I went to a going away party for my boss. I know many people do not like their boss, but I loved her. It was really sad, but I thought I'd make her a good luck card for her new job.

Well there you have it! Thanks for stopping by!
Toodles,
